Clerkenwell Practice
1.
Anxiety
Therapy
Anxiety affects all of us. Good therapy starts with owning this and gradually taking charge of whatever it is that is bothering you.
2.
Bereavement
Therapy
Loss is hard for all of us to bear. It might be a bereavement, a loss of a hoped-for promotion, or a feeling of being generally disappointed and down.
3.
Relationship
Therapy
Often when we separate or get divorced, there is no shortage of lawyers and mediators to help with the practical side of splitting up. What often gets missed is the need for emotional support too.
4.
Addiction
Therapy
Addiction is often borne alone, with factors such as shame and fear of exposure stopping us from reaching out. I offer professional completely confidential help.
My Approach
I offer one-on-one therapy for six sessions to begin with, and longer if needed. During the initial session we explore what you want from counselling. What we discuss after that is entirely up to you. I very much see our work as a partnership, with a common goal of helping you to feel better.
About me
I am a BACP-registered, fully qualified Gestalt counsellor, meaning I follow a school of thought in which I encourage my clients to be more present; and so find through their being more in the "Here and Now" they function better and become more resilient to life's challenges.
